Summary of 'Fire Hymn'

फायर-हाइमन कविता की रचना केकी एन. दारूवाला ने की है। केकी एन. दारूवाला एक इंडो एंग्लियन कवि हैं। वह पारसी हैं. इस कविता में कवि एक घाट का वर्णन करता है जहाँ शव को ले जाया जाता है। एक दिन कवि अपने पिता के साथ एक घाट के पास घूम रहा था। वह देखता है कि किसी शव का अंतिम संस्कार करने के कई घंटों बाद भी लाल-गर्म अंगारे चमक रहे हैं। वह हैरान है. पारसी अपने शवों का अंतिम संस्कार करने के बजाय उसे टॉवर ऑफ साइलेंस में ले जाते हैं और वहां रख देते हैं। वह इस तरह के क्रूर कृत्य को देखकर भयभीत हो जाते हैं। पच्चीस साल पहले एक बार कवि ने अपने पहले बच्चे को आग की लपटों के हवाले कर दिया था क्योंकि टॉवर ऑफ़ साइलेंस उनके निवास से बहुत दूर था। कवि कहते हैं कि शव को जलाना एक अमानवीय कार्य है। उसे पछतावा है कि उसने अपने बच्चे को आग के हवाले कर दिया। उसका कहना है कि उसने यह अमानवीय क्रूर कृत्य कर पाप किया है. वह माफ़ी मांगता है.

The poem 'Fire Hymn' is an emotional poem written by Keki N. Daruwala. He is an indo English poet. He follows Parsi religion.

He writes that he is watching A dead body is burning in fire at the ghat where he was walking with his father.

He has seen that afterhalf burning the body it looks that the fire is not releasing the shining fire is cruel towards the body. He scares of the fire because 25 years ago he also put the body of his child because the 'Tower of Silence' was far thousand miles from there.. He thinks burning of the body is cruelty. It doesn't mean of humanity.

He is apologise for his work he had done 25 years ago it was like a sin for him.
